Formed in 2009, the Ilford Business Improvement District’s key aims are to promote businesses within the BID boundary, increase footfall and to make Ilford the destination of choice.
Friends of Loxford is a group of people from Loxford and Clementswood, who have come together to revitalise their neighbourhoods. The group works to introduce and develop more art and culture in the neighbourhood; revitalise the green spaces in the south of the borough; and connect and bring local communities together.
The group is incredibly diverse, ranging from school children and teenagers all the way up to people in their 80s. Friends of Loxford have been working together for over three years and were an essential service to many during the Covid-19 pandemic.
